Through the
first 15 years of the league's history, the
Cheeko Chiefs (the Morristown Maulers' previous
incarnation) were one of only two UFFL
franchises located outside the United States.
They were based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,
Canada.
The only other franchise located outside the
U.S. during this period was Henne Given Sunday,
which was owned by Jason Wedgwood, a native of
Great Britain.
