Profile A former chat administrator for CBS SportsLine, Mark became the founding owner of the first expansion franchise in UFFL history June 8, 2009, when the PC Best Bets were added as the league's 13th team. They were later renamed the TH Best Bets, when the franchise relocated from Prairie Creek, Indiana (PC) to Terre Haute, Indiana (TH), and later to the Shelburn OrangeHats. Mark has also participated in several UFFL-sponsored fantasy events, including the Football Pickem Challenge and the UFFL: Postseason Edition contest on the Sporting News website. He is a fan of the Cleveland Browns, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds and New York Islanders, among other teams. In 2011, he became only the second owner in league history to finish the regular season without a victory. However, he won his first-round matchup in the consolation bracket to avoid a complete shutout. Bender had his best season to date in 2015, when he finished with a league-best 10-3-0 record during the regular season, clinching the top seed in the UFFL championship bracket. However, he lost his first-round matchup to the Sisyphean Endeavors, ending his hopes for a league title. After posting another winning record during the 2016 regular season, the Shelburn OrangeHats have only made it above .500 one time since then.
