Profile Believe it or not, the Ultimate Fantasy Football League had more than one owner from the city of Philadelphia named Jared Byrd participating during the 2004 season. And no, the league commissioner was not suffering from split personalities. This Jared Byrd, henceforth referred to as Jared L. Byrd, was participating in a Yahoo fantasy football league for the first time ever, and was also the league's youngest owner at the age of 15. The younger Jared found out about his namesake when his teacher at Penn Charter High School asked students to type their own names into the Google search engine, to find out what comes up. After discovering Jared E. Byrd's online weblog, this led to several instant message conversations, and eventually, Jared L. Byrd was invited to join the UFFL. He replaced Grace Cloud as owner of the "To Be Named" franchise on July 24, 2004, and renamed the franchise "Bluesox," moving the team from North Carolina to the City of Brotherly Love. He was replaced by Becci Domecillo in the league on June 25, 2005.
