Profile Craig replaced Sam Mollenhoff as a league owner on July 25, 2004. A native of Sunray, Texas, Lechner is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and his fantasy football roster usually includes several Cowboys. He is an active participant in Yahoo! baseball and basketball leagues as well, and is a former member of the old CBS SportsLine chat rooms. Craig had a stellar rookie season, making it all the way to the UFFL Championship Game against Jay Klinkhammer's "New Nathan Detroits," and made it to the playoffs again in his sophomore season. He missed the postseason in 2006, but quickly rebounded and made the playoffs in 2007. After ending up in the consolation bracket following the 2008 season, Craigntx had their most successful campaign yet in 2009, winning their first title against Jay Klinkhammer's "A-Peterson Fan Club." With the victory, Craig became the first UFFL head coach ever to defeat Klinkhammer in a championship game (in four opportunities). Lechner announced his retirement May 22, 2012, due to the fact that he was anticipating having limited access to the internet for the foreseeable future.
