UFFL Logo History

League Logos
2003-2004

The UFFL did not have an official logo during its inaugural season, when it was known simply as "NFL 2002." However, a decision was made to create a logo for the league website coinciding with the name change to the "Ultimate Fantasy Football League" in time for the 2003 season. This image, created using clip art and AppleWorks on an iMac computer, was used for two seasons before gradually being phased out.
2006-2013

This cartoonish image - which is arguably the league's most well-known logo - was designed on an iMac computer using AppleWorks during the 2006 season and was used on a regular basis until its retirement in mid-2013. It still appears on all of the UFFL merchandise featured in the league's official store on cafepress.com.

2013-present

A new UFFL logo was created to give the league a more professional look (and also to match the banner that appears at the top of every page of the league website). The football clip art came from findicons.com, while the logo itself was designed on bannerfans.com.

2008 (Experimental)

This experimental design is identical to the 2006 logo, except it used darker colors to make the football appear slightly more realistic.

2009 (Experimental)

Here is another experimental logo that didn't quite catch on. It was created using the official seal generator tool on says-it.com.

Website Banners
2006-2007

This banner, featuring a gradient red background, was created using the AppleWorks application on an iMac computer. It appeared on all pages of the UFFL's historical website, including the home page.

2008

Coinciding with the league's move to Fleaflicker, minor tweaks were performed on the 2006 UFFL banner (involving adjusting the spacing between words and letters).

This banner appeared on all pages of the league historical website during the 2008 season, with the exception of the home page.

2009

In 2009, a number of experimental banners were designed to replace the outdated one from 2008. This image was used regularly throughout the 2009 season but was eventually replaced by another image from the same batch of experimental banners.

In 2009, a number of experimental banners were designed to replace the outdated one from 2008. While several actually saw use on the website, this one eventually became the permanent banner (and is still in place today).
